The Significance of Ford GT40 Chassis 107

The Ford GT40 is one of the most celebrated race cars ever built. Developed during Ford Motor Company's legendary battle with Ferrari in international endurance racing, the GT40 would ultimately dominate the 24 Hours of Le Mans, winning four consecutive races from 1966 through 1969.

GT40 Chassis 107 represents an important chapter in the development of Ford's racing program and serves as a reminder of the engineering, determination, and innovation that transformed the GT40 into one of the most successful race cars in history. Today, original GT40s are among the most sought-after and valuable collector cars in the world.

Phil Hill – America's First Formula One World Champion

Phil Hill remains the only American-born driver to win the Formula One World Championship, capturing the title in 1961. His remarkable racing career included victories at Le Mans, Sebring, and numerous international competitions. Hill played an important role in testing and developing the Ford GT40 program and was respected throughout the racing world for his technical knowledge and driving ability.

His autograph makes this piece especially desirable to collectors of Formula One, Le Mans, and American motorsports memorabilia.

Carroll Shelby – The Man Behind the Legend

Carroll Shelby is one of the most influential figures in automotive history. After winning the 1959 24 Hours of Le Mans as a driver, Shelby turned his attention to building high-performance automobiles and racing teams.

As the driving force behind the Cobra, Shelby Mustang, and Ford GT40 racing programs, Shelby helped create some of the most iconic performance vehicles ever produced. His leadership and vision were instrumental in Ford's eventual dominance at Le Mans and cemented his place as one of the greatest names in motorsports.

Few autographs carry more significance among automotive enthusiasts than that of Carroll Shelby.
