The Lola T70 is one of the most significant sports racing cars of the 1960s. It immediately proved its dominance by carrying John Surtees to the inaugural Can-Am Championship in 1966. That same season, American racing icon Dan Gurney drove a Ford-powered Lola T70 to victory at Bridgehampton, earning the only Can-Am race win ever achieved by Ford in the series' history.
